We are either bored or have too much to do. Even in college, there is a big distinction between the “over achievers” and the “under achievers”. But is there a “just right achiever”? Somehow, I think we won’t run into this sort of thing very often.
But seeing this has made me wonder, what is it that makes one person have so many things to do that they don’t have time for everything, and another person so that they have the hardest time finding something to fill their time? I completely understand doing other things to shirk responsibility, but with some people they seriously cannot fill their time.
I have a list of over 200 books I want to read, people I try to keep up with and take care of, full time school, part time work and an internship. I also have a lot of things that I like to spend my time doing, such as writing or watching movies. I don’t think I’ve ever had a time in the past four years where I haven’t had something I needed to do.
Seriously, I want to know what you guys think. What is it that makes someone ambitious, or someone else just someone who has to kill time? Is it human nature, is it something we’re born with?
